Enhancement Goblin Shaman

Enhancement Goblin – My First Horde Character

Here I go again. This time I’m leveling another enhancement Shaman on the horde side, and again without the benefit of Heirloom gear. Actually, I had enough points on my paladin on the Alliance side that was able to purchase one Venerable Mass of McGowan.

Yes, I know there is the chest and shoulder piece that give me extra XP, but I so love the dps this amazing mace can produce, and it has served me well keeping me at the top of the dps meters on just about every random dungeon group I have been in. The only time I would lose the dps race is when I was grouped with someone in full heirloom gear. Considering I am usually in greens well below my current level, I am extremely pleased with my performance.

Sadly, I only had enough points for the one Venerable Mass of McGowan, and I was in no mood to run any more dungeons with my tank to get the necessary points for a second Venerable Mass of McGowan.

WoW Gold Making Tips – Gold Making Professions

WoW Gold Making Tips – Leverage Gold Making Professions for HUGE Profits

It’s no surprise that if you want to fully enjoy World of Warcraft you need GOLD, and lots of it. A quick and easy method is simply to pick professions that are gold making professions, and not sinkholes. There are eleven main professions to choose from, but the ones you want are known as “gathering” professions.

The two best gold making professions in World of Warcraft are Mining and Herbalism. Skinning is NOT a good choice because it is too time-consuming to kill, loot and skin mobs for their leather. Also, there is a steadier demand by “crafting” professions for herbs, ore and bars.

Farming Mammoth Meat

My Secret Spot for Farming Mammoth Meat

Whenever I’m questing, running Heroics or doing anything that requires killing stuff, you will find that I have a food buff. In any group setting, if you are not well-geared, then I think it’s in your best interest and your group’s to come with some type of food buff. For my shaman, I like to use a good attack power food buff, so I farm Mammoth Meat to make Mega Mammoth Meal.

One of my pet peeves is grouping with people who don’t use food buffs, either because they’ve never taken the time to level their cooking skill, or because they find Farming Mammoth Meat a hassle. If you need help leveling your cooking skill, follow my Epic 1-450 Alliance Cooking Guide. For some easy to gather attack power food stuff, I have a nice little tip for Farming Mammoth Meat, so you’ll have no more excuses.

WoW Fishing Strategy Guide

How to Level Your Fishing Skill

Seriously… the best WoW Fishing Strategy Guide to leveling and maxing out your fishing skill is to reach level 80 as fast as you can.

After creating your newblet, your immediate goal is to reach level 85 as quickly as possible. You DO NOT want to WASTE your TIME trying to level your professions… especially secondary ones… when you could and should be out there smacking around a few murlocs gaining valuable XP-rience. The exception would be herbalism and mining.

In the past you had to level up your fishing skill in order to progress from one fishing zone to another, so it only made sense that while you were questing and leveling your newblet, you would also level your fishing skill at the same time.

Epic 1-450 Alliance Cooking Guide

Yes, I call it an Epic 1-450 Alliance Cooking Guide because having a high cooking skill… imho… is equivalent to just about any epic item. A Fish Feast for example, gives you 80 Attack Power, 46 Spell Power and 40 Stamina for 1 hour. How sweet is that?!

If you’re raiding, there is no excuse for NOT having some kind of food buff. I found it so annoying to enter raids and see players with no food buff that I made sure all of my newblets’ cooking skill were maxed… or at least able to drop a Feast… and it’s so easy to level cooking! Heck… my level 2 bank alt newblet has a 350 cooking skill!

You can also make decent wow gold offering a 1-350 cooking leveling service. I used to sell my “kits” for 700g. Takes about 10-15 minutes for your “client” to level to 350 – it really blows their minds!
